I had the thought that perhaps the spam hitting this group isn't by
random chance. It could be of course, but it may also be possible
that the frequency, times, and post's content itself, may all relate
to some kind of message someone is trying to convey.
I had this thought because it seems like the spam in this group is
delivered at odd intervals, with odd frequency, and in odd text
lengths.
If someone were so inclined to plot the messages on a graph of some
kind based on various metrics, it may yield a message (or messages).
Of course, as soon as I say that I'm reminded of the movie "The Man
With One Red Shoe" wherein the GBLX-1000 computer analyzes something
that wasn't a code, and concludes some nonsensical garbage was the
message content:
"We fed his musical notes into the GBLX-1000, the ones where
he varied from the composition. We got this."
"It reads: 'Ardy bekko, inyo see far ogle'"
"What is that?"
[pause]
"He's rubbing our noses in it."
Just a thought...
Thank you,
